Mode selection for use with 3rd party software

The programmer can be used with various 3rd party software through the Virtual Comport. For use with 3rd party software, the programmer has to be set in a certain mode (eg phoenix or smartmouse). The 3rd party software determines which mode you have to select. The mode selecton is only needed to program the cards not supported natively by CardPro software, such as Titanium, M2, GSM/SIM-cards etc.

Setting up the programmer is very easy. Start the Multipro 7 in 1 software and select the mode you need for the 3rd party software. The MultiPro software will minimize to systray if you hit the minimize button. Now you can start the 3rd party software and program your smartcard. Please note that you have to setup the comport for first use by selecting the autodetect function under "Options" "Serial Ports".

The modes can be verified by the LED's on the programmer.
