I get the message "driver not found" or my
computer freezes.
This error arises due to a faulty driver
installation. This is usually caused by a broken cable, trying to
install the wrong driver or a compatibility issue with
specific motherboards/USB controllers, and
Windows XP.
To solve the problem, first try to connect the
programmer to a new USB port. Next follow this installation procedure
step by step. Make
sure you have the right privileges (logged in as Administrator) to
install a driver.
*keep smartcardreader connected
*remove USBLoad software
*remove USBLoad driver/smartcardreader
*disconnect the Funcard USB smartcardreader
*install the latest version (Setup.exe)
*connect the Funcard USB smartcardreader
*the Funcard USB smartcardreader is recognized by windows, follow the
installation
procedure for the driver.
When inserting the
Funcard USB, the card can't be detected by CardPro.
Probably the contacts of the card are dirty, or
the card facing in the wrong direction. The card can be cleaned with
alcohol, and must be inserted with the contacts facing down.
Another reason may be that you're inserting a card that CardPro
doesn't support.
Is software available for Linux or MacOS?
Software and drivers specially written for
Linux or MacOS don't exist, but it is possible to use CardPro under
MacOS using VirtualPC.
